100 Feet to debut on the SCIFI Channel

Eric Red’s first directorial effort since Bad Moon will debut on the SCIFI (SyFy) Shannel this Sunday, April 26th.

The film stars Famke Jansen as a woman who is confined to her house and haunted by the abusive husband she killed. If, like me, you have no no cable you’ll have to wait for a dvd release on April 28th through Hollywood video.

Eric Red is the man who wrote Near Dark, The Hitcher, Bad Moon, Blue Steel and many other films. His scripts are among the best horror films ever made. “I want to give evil poignancy instead of making it straight-out monstrous. People aren’t black and white. They live in gray areas, and I like giving my heroes and villains different shadings,” Red has said.

It times like this that make me wish I had Syfy — hey, two day is two days.
